Join ORIGIN and work on real U.S. land development and infrastructure projects, including residential and commercial sites, roads, utility networks, and stormwater systems. We are looking for a Mid-Level Civil Design Engineer (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Land Development) to support project delivery through Civil 3D modeling, drawing production, and engineering coordination.

In this role, you will work remotely with a technically strong team in a structured workflow. You will prepare project documentation, perform basic engineering calculations, and collaborate with engineers while developing your expertise in U.S. standards and land development practices.

 

What we expect

  • Higher education in civil engineering, hydraulic engineering, transportation, infrastructure, or a related field;
  • 2+ years of experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D;
  • Understanding of grading/vertical planning principles, stormwater drainage, and site development preparation;
  • English proficiency at an Intermediate (B1โ€“B2) level or higher (written and spoken, for communication during meetings);
  • Attention to detail, engineering mindset, and responsibility.

 

Significant advantages will be

  • Experience with Hydraflow, EPA SWMM, HEC-HMS, or similar tools;
  • Experience working on projects for the U.S., Canada, or the EU;
  • Understanding of U.S. standards (e.g., ASCE, local codes) or a strong willingness to learn them.

 

Responsibilities

  • Developing drawings and models in AutoCAD Civil 3D;
  • Working with Surfaces, Grading, Alignments, Profiles, Corridors, and Storm Pipe Networks;
  • Preparing working documentation (Plans/Profiles/Details);
  • Performing basic engineering calculations (drainage, slopes, volumes);
  • Coordinating with other engineers and the project team;
  • Working in accordance with U.S. standards and project requirements (training is provided).
